As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence in a technology-focused location.
Help to deter unauthorized activity by being observant during patrols and reporting any suspicious circumstances to the appropriate authorities.
Document and report security-related incidents and/or hazards according to company and site guidelines.
Assist visitors and employees with access and directions while maintaining adherence to site protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members throughout the shift.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Experience in access control and/or badge procedures is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
