As a Security Officer - Front Desk Specialist in Lawrence, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Officer at a leading location in the Aero/Defense sector, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors and employees. In this highly visible position, you will assist with visitor management, monitor access points, and provide outstanding customer service while addressing security-related concerns. Mon08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Tue08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Wed08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Thur08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Fri08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to visitors and employees at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

Monitor access to the location, checking identification and/or visitor credentials as required.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.

Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.

Coordinate communication between visitors, employees, and site management as needed.

Assist with enforcing building access policies and procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry.

Remain alert to potential security-related risks at the front desk area and promptly communicate concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
