TAK Broadband is a leading end-to-end U.S. fiber broadband network construction contractor operating in 42 states. This includes engineering teams, distributors, and more than 100 qualified construction crews with extensive experience across all ISP @types and markets; over 300 experienced bury drop crews; and more than 700 professional technicians.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Pre-Construction Team. In this role you will be the primary and single point of contact for projects of all sizes, scopes and levels of complexity within our Pre-Construction team.

The Role

Plan, organize and manage projects within scope, timeline and budget expectations

Lead projects with a balanced focus on achievement of targeted outcomes, meeting internal and external stakeholder needs and creating efficiencies/reducing costs

Provide full life cycle project leadership, including initial planning and assessment, project resourcing/team building, documentation/reporting and post-close project analysis

Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues, implementing effective risk management strategies

Regularly communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders, providing clear direction and status updates

Prepare and provide executive status updates - including both the technical and human-sides of project management

Requirements

7+ years of direct project management experience is required

Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience

Professional certifications are preferred but not necessary - PMP, Scrum Master, Lean/Agile, etc.

Ability to work independently, be self-driven and a highly organized problem solver

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to speak with a wide variety of people

Experienced using project tracking tools, such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar

Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver's license is required if the role involves driving

Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
