As a Security Officer in ALVARADO, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a high-end retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for guests, staff, and valuables. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and around its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

Observe and report any suspicious or unusual activity within the location.

Assist guests, visitors, and/or employees with directions and information as needed.

Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and location staff to maintain a welcoming environment.

Document incidents and maintain detailed reports as required by site procedures.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
