The following position is to join our RTX Corporate team:
What You Will Do
Support the financial strategy and performance of the department while maintaining alignment with RTX financial directives and goals.
Responsible for performing daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, general ledger support, intercompany reporting, financial planning, analysis, and reporting, while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
Demonstrate exceptional skills in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and data analysis.
Ensure compliance with the RTX Corporate, Financial and RTFlight Policies within the scope of the position and department.
Duties and Responsibilities
Accounts Payable - timely and accurate invoice processing by validating invoice details and amount, obtaining approval and ensuring payment to vendor while adhering to procedures and policies of department and company.
Assist in development of department contracts' database
Manage the departmental general ledger financial and intercompany activity, prepare and maintain general ledger entries to ensure appropriate financial costs reporting
Support the development of the RTFlight Operating Budget by assisting with the maintenance of the financial models and analysis to support the planning, forecasting and financial activity comparison.
Manage the Capital Appropriation and reporting process
Manage the post-flight corporate aviation process within the flight management system, and interpret aviation operations aircraft usage involving tracking and reporting various use of corporate aircraft
Provide support for government recovery and tax disallowance reporting related to RTX Corporate aircraft usage.
Support audits (i.e., ISBAO, RTXHQ Internal & External Audits) ensuring appropriate Internal Controls are in place. Review procedures, research best practices and make recommendations to incorporate into the flight department financial operating procedures.
Participate in CORE initiative. Continue development of skills to support implementation and procedural analysis. On-going review of flight department finance and accounting processes to ensure the best practices.
Qualifications You Must Have
A University Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years prior experience.
Strong background in Financial Accounting
Experience working with and interpreting financial statements

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
