We are looking for:
Legal Operations Manager:
This position will manage Syensqo day-to-day in-house legal operations, including coordinating with outside counsel regarding financial matters.
The Legal Operations Manager will be a member of the General Counsel Function, and partner closely with our Litigation, Insurance/Risk Management, Finance/GBS, and Procurement internal teams.
This person will serve as an administrator for our matter management and e-Billing systems (mainly Legal Tracker).
The role anchors all our legal claims which are tracked in multiple systems, coordinates closely with internal colleagues in finance and payable accounts, assists in creating budgets, tracking savings, and coordinating with our legal vendors as needed.

Claims and matter administration
Create and maintain new matters in Legal Tracker and Riskonnect software tools.
Coordinate with insurance team on various tasks.
Vendor and Purchase Order creation and management.
Assist with budgeting, tracking cost savings and creation of reports.
Invoice lifecycle management
Manage all aspects of legal invoice processes.
Financial operations, accruals, and reporting
Work with Finance to prepare and reconcile monthly and quarterly accruals.
Settlements processing
Initiate settlement check requests in SAP, ensuring proper internal and finance codes; coordinate check printing and secure handling; work with outside counsel on fund disbursement.
Internal Legal Tracker administration
Serve as primary Administrator for Legal Tracker, including matter creation, user provisioning, approval routing, data quality, vendor support, and reporting.
Ability to analyze large data sets and create graphs, figures and visuals for budget and spending presentations to upper management.
Drive process documentation and continuous improvements.
Collaboration and communications
Liaise with Litigation, Insurance/Risk, Finance/GBS, and Procurement on claims, reserves, insurance notices, reimbursements, purchase order approvals, and budget/spend status.
Coordinate with outside counsel and experts on invoice compliance, matter setup, and billing corrections; provide frequent status updates to stakeholders.
Legal Administrative Support
Working with legal team to prepare presentations, edit spreadsheets and documents.
Assist team with activities in Concur, such as expenses and travel.
Retrieve settlement checks from the office and send to recipients.
You will bring:
Bachelor's degree required.
5+ years of legal operations, e-Billing, claims administration, and/or legal finance experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
Hands-on experience with Legal Tracker (e-Billing/matter management system) and one or more of: Riskonnect (or similar claims platform), SAP, Accounts Payable systems.
Proven track record running monthly invoice cycles, accruals, and opened/budget reporting.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with independent, creative thinking and sound judgment
Advanced Excel and reporting abilities; comfortable managing large data sets, reconciliations, and high invoice volumes
Exceptional attention to detail, process ownership, and data integrity
Ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive workflows in a fast-paced environment
Clear written and verbal communication; effective cross-functional collaboration with legal, finance, insurance, procurement, and outside counsel
Comfortable making decisions, driving follow-through, and adapting to changing demands and deadlines
Discretion and reliability with confidential information
Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn and grow
High-level understanding of litigation and the company's case load and vendor landscape.

Competitive salary and benefits package
The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $85,000- $100,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
