What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients and visitors at financial institution locations by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while carrying out duties as an armed patrol officer.
Conduct regular and random patrols of both the interior and perimeter of the premises to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for any unusual conditions.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents and to provide assistance as needed.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed in response to security-related incidents.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate relevant information to team members and site management.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Hold current CPR certification.
Have customer service-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
