Job Description:
At Regions, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical services to support the overall needs of the business. This position may assist a leader, division, or department.
Primary Responsibilities
May manage confidential, strategic, and business critical information
Assists with moderately complex projects
Initiates routine and some non-routine correspondence and memoranda
Keeps abreast of all technology used by department and troubleshoots any issues
Prepares reports and presentations
Coordinates details related to business travel
Completes expense reports
Manages leader's email inbox
Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments
Coordinates meetings, prepares materials and distributes minutes of meetings
Greets and directs visitors
Answers and directs incoming calls
Resolves routine inquiries
Assists with scanning, copying, faxing, filing, mailings, and other similar tasks
Receives and distributes mail
Orders supplies and equipment
Acts as a resource to associates with less experience
May provide back up to other Administrative Assistant associates for coverage and/or additional assistance needed
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Five (5) years of administrative experience

This role joins the leadership group as a strategic operating partner embedded within the leadership team of the Corporate Banking Group's Strategy, Administration, and Execution Management function. We are a team dedicated to enabling business success through strategy, product management, business intelligence, and change management. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide high-impact support not only to the senior leader but also to the leadership team. This role offers visibility and requires advanced organizational, communication, and presentation skills to support complex schedules, blended meetings, and high-impact deliverables. This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment and earns trust through precision, presence, and performance.
Ability to work required schedule: Monday-Thursday in-office by 7:30AM until 4:30PM; Friday remote work by exception.
Demonstrated ability to manage dynamic, high-volume calendars using proven systems and tools, including prioritization, conflict resolution, and proactive time management techniques.
Ability to support multiple team members with travel arrangements, expense reporting, and planning for large-scale meetings and events, in addition to supporting the primary leader.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Strong written communication skills for executive-level emails and concise meeting summaries.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint; ability to create polished, narrative-driven presentations.
Ability to complete assignments independently and proactively seek clarification when needed.
Experience supporting senior leaders in large, multi-location organization with complex scheduling and blended meeting formats.
Skilled in tracking and following up on action items to ensure timely completion.
Comfortable using collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, OneNote); familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, ClipChamp) preferred.
Skilled in managing and casting and running virtual presentations and meetings in Microsoft Teams or Webex, including small group sessions and large-scale formats such as town halls.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and fosters positive team collaboration.

Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
