Role Definition
Oracle Accounting Support Senior Accounting provides comprehensive support for the Oracle Financial applications, performing in-depth analysis of new processes and product offerings, assisting with testing and deployment for releases, and developing tailored Oracle solutions to meet business needs. This role requires a deep understanding of the Oracle systems, focusing on tax, accounts payable, and the ability to troubleshoot and implement system improvements.
Responsibilities
Conduct analysis and documentation of new processes, business requirements and products, ensuring alignment with US GAAP accounting practices and US Tax.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the impact of Oracle financial changes and new features.
Assist in testing and validation of Oracle system enhancements, patches and releases
Coordinate with IT and business units to support Oracle Financial deployments, development and ensuring smooth rollouts and user adoption.
Provide end-user support, troubleshooting issues, and identifying opportunities for process improvements within Oracle.
Design and develop custom Oracle solutions to address specific business requirements, enhancing financial reporting and operations.
Perform regular audits and reviews of Oracle system configurations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and adherence to Sarbanes Oxley.

Summary Pay Range:
$116,532.00 - $216,384.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
