Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will manage invoice processing, vendor documentation, and ensure the accurate and timely execution of payments. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

Process and accurately input vendor invoices into the accounting system.

Collect, review, and maintain vendor W-9 forms to ensure compliance with company policies.

Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

Facilitate payments through printed checks, electronic transfers, and corporate credit card transactions.

Support employee expense reporting and corporate credit card reconciliation processes.

Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal teams regarding payment statuses or invoice issues.

Print and prepare weekly check distributions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Maintain organized and precise records of all accounts payable transactions.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and coding.

Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge of purchase order matching and resolving discrepancies.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Experience with corporate credit card payments and expense reporting.

Excellent communication skills to address inquiries professionally and effectively.

Attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions.

Familiarity with inbox management and handling credit card deposits and receipts.
