Sr. Project Manager, Litigation Operations (Hybrid)

The Senior Project Manager, Litigation Operations, is a critical part of the Litigation Operations team and its work to deliver operational support to the broader Litigation & Employment team, composed of nearly 150 attorneys, paralegals, and legal professionals. Litigation Operations administers the legal matter management system of record and its sensitive data; conducts legal and budgetary data analysis and prepares business critical insights for a range of stakeholders; coordinates various reporting deliverables for internal and external stakeholders including Capital One's Board of Directors and federal regulators; and ensures effective process governance measures and controls are in place team-wide.
The Senior Project Manager, Litigation Operations will:

Analyze legal and budgetary data, communicating practical business insights to leadership
Prepare and communicate analysis and process recommendations to various stakeholders
Bring a partnership and consultative mindset to interactions with attorneys and paralegals in the management of legal matters in the system of record
Independently manage various cross-functional projects, effectively scoping, planning, and prioritizing work
Blend strategic and tactical thinking in analyzing data, assessing existing or new processes, and communicating findings and recommendations
Contribute to cross-functional teams in the delivery of certain reporting deliverables, process improvements, and modernization efforts
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
At least 1 year of experience in Project Management or Process Management
At least 1 year of experience with data analysis
At least 1 year of experience with GSuite products or Microsoft Office products
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Process or Project Management
2+ years of experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or government agency
2+ years of experience analyzing data sets, 2+ years of experience preparing data visualizations/presentations, and 2+ years of experience communicating insights to stakeholders

This role is hybrid meaning associates spend 3 days per week in-person at one of our offices listed on this job posting. Fridays are enterprise wide virtual work days. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are options for in-person days for associates to spend time together working in our beautifully-designed team areas.
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $94,600 - $107,900 for Sr. Project Manager
Richmond, VA: $86,000 - $98,200 for Sr. Project Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
