Our work depends on an experienced Subcontracts Sr. Manager joining our team to lead a group of talented Subcontract Administrators in cradle to grave subcontracts activities, supporting GDIT's program and delivery teams, growth objectives with our proposal teams, and our financial objectives within our operations teams.
HOW SUBCONTRACTS SR. MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Subject matter expert in subcontract proposal requirements, process, and responsibilities
Lead in management of assigned NDAs, TAs subcontracts, purchase orders, and other related agreements
Actively participates in the capture process which includes pricing and scheduling strategy, lead for color team reviews, reviewing and interpreting government solicitations requirements, and coordinating communications and status to senior leadership
Ensure compliance in all aspects of proposal and sector programs, including monitoring the compliance trends of the Sector and providing senior leadership with results of audit cycle reviews; may include developing and delivering procurement training
Compliance monitoring of all subcontract activities, including developing and applying methodology for identifying and reporting any fraud or misrepresentation
Help ensure that Subcontracts operates ethically and in strict compliance with government procurement regulations and laws
Maintains current knowledge of relevant Subcontract procedures and practices
Reviews requests for proposals and prepares proposals
Interface with senior leadership and staff along with operational managers, and provide subcontract advice and guidance to promote the advancement of the subcontract discipline
Conducts Fair and Reasonable determinations and completes Cost and/or Price Analyses, and reviews the analyses of others to ensure compliance with policy/procedure
Participates in the review and coordination of approval of terms, conditions, and legal sufficiency of all subcontract documents
Prepares status reports and briefs senior leadership on issues or problems
Assists senior leadership in preparing and implementing procedural changes
Leads resolution of subcontract-related problems
Forecasts and manages defense subcontracts pipeline proposal opportunities
Coordinates with and briefs sector managers and senior leadership on proposal opportunities in all phases of the proposal lifecycle
Participates in special projects as required and/or other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education : Bachelor's degree
Experience : 8+ years of related experience
Technical skills: Skilled working with MS Office Suite and SharePoint
Security clearance level: None
Role requirements: Ability to mentor and develop staff. Effective leadership skills. Expert knowledge of the practices, procedures, and processes involved in subcontracts administration. Expert knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned subcontracts, including FAR, applicable Agency Supplements, and public laws. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Location : This is a hybrid position working at our GDIT facility in Falls Church, VA. Must be comfortable working 3 days a week onsite.

The likely salary range for this position is $139,984 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
