As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will perform unarmed patrols and help to deter security-related incidents through your presence and attention to detail. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help create a secure environment, and providing exceptional customer service to everyone on site. This position also requires driving as part of your duties. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and protocols, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment within a manufacturing and industrial setting.
Monitor entry and exit points and observe for unusual or suspicious activity, reporting any concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, contractors, and staff, providing assistance and information as needed while representing Allied Universal.
Remain alert and attentive to changing conditions within the location, adapting to different working environments as required by the site.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA (TWIC) is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
