Overview This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, and West VirginiaFirst Citizens Equipment Finance is a full-service, vendor-centric lending/leasing business unit. FCB EF provides a wide array of lending and leasing products/solutions to customers ranging in size from small/medium businesses to enterprise entities through its affiliation/alignment with OEM equipment vendors, their distributors, resellers, and dealers.Focused upon supporting Dealer and National Account relationships in the Industrial Equipment Leasing market segment (transportation, construction, manufacturing, and material handling) covering a specified territory. Favorable results will be achieved by the successful sales and relationship management of manufacturer and dealer contacts, national accounts, industry groups and end-user customers.Travel within the geographic territory is required Responsibilities - Relationship Development - Develops and retains positive business and customer relationships. Makes recommendations in vendor selection, negotiations, issues resolution, and ongoing relationship management for assigned initiatives.- Sales - Presents, promotes, and sells products/services to existing and prospective customers. Performs cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs. Troubleshoots complex issues and complaints involving internal and external parties for other representatives.- Business Support - Originates cold calling customer leads and reviews/supplies leads list for other reps. Oversees a database of opportunities and leads that record activity and statistics on each outbound call. Upholds standards for the minimum number of calls and talk time per day. Creates reports and aggregates data on customer needs, problems, interests, and competitive activities, which includes suggestions for new products and services. Presents information in PowerPoint to management.- Account Managerial Functions - Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve goals. Guides, and mentors while manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Works both externally and internally to key stakeholders to achieve business related goals. Qualifications Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Equipment Finance/Leasing/Commercial Banking-OR-High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Equipment Finance/Leasing/Commercial BankingExperience in construction, manufacturing, and/or material handlingTravel within the geographic territoryAdditional Required Qualifications:- Prefer Leasing Industry Knowledge - preferably in the industrial space (transportation, construction, manufacturing, and material handling)- Computer literate - knowledge of SalesForce.com a plus- Excellent problem-solving skills- Exceptional ability to develop and cultivate strategic relationships.- Strong presentation, organization, and time management skills- Works well independently and in collaborative environments.Benefits are an integral part of total rewards and First Citizens Bank is committed to providing a competitive, thoughtfully designed and quality benefits program to meet the needs of our associates.
