The Human Resources Department at Union Health is looking for team members for the Terre Haute campus. HR Associate Essential Job Duties:

Anticipates activity flow in the office. Organizes individual work schedule in a systematic manner, taking into consideration priorities identified by the staff in the Human Resources Department.

Assesses priorities regarding applicants, appointments, typing communications, etc.

Performs designated activities including personal computer and various other office equipment.

Performs back up duties as requested, i.e., pulls files, forwards information, facilities transfer or files.

Assists Chief HR Officer upon request as well as HR Manager-Acquisition.

Knowledgeable regarding hospital policy, procedures, and general information.

Responsible for opening front office, relief of front office staff including Payroll sign ups and phones.

Maintains employee records with updated information and scans all documents pertaining to the employee's personnel records.

Performs all functions of front desk.

Picks up and distributes mail for HR department, orders supply for department.

Tracks earnings of employee-sponsored fund-raising events.

Maintains contract employment documents.

Schedule events.

Copy files for attorney request.

Facilitate employee name changes

Education, Training & Experience

Excellent computer skills utilizing various software packages. Typing skills at 50 wpm necessary.

Course work in secretarial science or equivalent education of experience.

Must meet and deal successfully with a wide variety of people.

Must be accomplished in written and verbal business communication.

At least one (1) yr secretarial experience.

Flexible to meet departmental needs.
