Job Description

Direct all accounting and financial activities, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory control, payroll, fixed assets, financial reporting, budgeting, and project management for all locations of the organization.

Responsibilities

Direct accounting and financial operations.

Prepare financial documents, reports, and budgets.

Delegate authority for the receipt, disbursement, banking, protection, and custody of funds, securities, and financial instruments.

Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance, and external accounting personnel to facilitate financial activities.

Receive, record, and authorize requests for disbursements in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in accounting and finance.

Experience with percentage of completion accounting.

Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and fixed assets.

Knowledge of inventory control and construction accounting.

Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, such as Acumatica.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA preferred.

Minimum five years of previous experience as a controller.

Experience with acquisitions and related accounting is a plus.

Strong communication and management skills.

Work Environment

This role is based in a brand new office in Norcross, requiring attendance five days a week. You will collaborate closely with the CFO and report to a remote team member based in Florida. The office offers a dynamic and supportive environment, providing a great opportunity to own the accounting process.

This is a Permanent position based out of Norcross, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
