We are looking for a dynamic Finance Manager to oversee financial and administrative operations for our organization in Kirkland, Washington. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the executive team, offering strategic insights and innovative solutions to enhance business performance. The ideal candidate will exemplify leadership qualities, foster a culture of accountability, and drive operational excellence across various financial functions.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage financial and administrative operations, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Collaborate with executives to provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.

Lead by example to promote company values, instill accountability, and reinforce a positive organizational culture.

Oversee and execute key financial processes, including project contracts, monthly invoicing, and state and federal filings.

Administer 401k plans, including annual testing and audit preparation.

Conduct thorough reviews of monthly financial statements and coordinate semi-annual audits.

Develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets to support strategic objectives.

Mentor and coach team members and managers to foster growth and improve performance.

Identify and address potential operational challenges, suggesting process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Manage relationships with external consultants, including CPAs, attorneys, and compliance advisors.

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000 + discretionary bonus.

Requirements - Expertise in financial modeling and analysis, with a strong grasp of variance analysis and budget planning.

Proven ability to develop and manage annual budgets and oversee financial reporting processes.

Skilled in contract administration and handling monthly invoicing procedures.

Experience in conducting audits and reviewing financial statements to ensure accuracy.

Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to inspire teams and promote accountability.

Knowledge of export control administration and compliance regulations.

Ability to stay informed about current events impacting business operations and adapt strategies accordingly.

Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills to optimize procedures and prevent issues.
