Tammy Power, Recruiting Manager with Robert Half is looking for an experienced and strategic Director of Finance to join a thriving organization in the food and agriculture production industry based in Wasco, California. This role is pivotal in leading financial operations, enhancing systems, and driving performance across multiple business units. Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.

Oversee the preparation of monthly financial close, consolidations, and accurate financial statements.

Ensure robust internal controls are in place while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Collaborate with operational teams to monitor cost accounting, inventory management, and key production metrics.

Drive improvements in financial systems and processes to optimize reporting and decision-making.

Manage treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, and capital expenditure strategies.

Mentor and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team, fostering growth and development.

Partner with senior leadership to formulate financial strategies and assess risk management initiatives.

Contribute to the organization's financial transformation by implementing scalable structures for future growth.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred.

A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance, including at least 3 years in a leadership position.

Proven expertise in manufacturing, food production, agriculture, or similar industries.

Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and operational finance.

Demonstrated success in implementing financial systems and streamlining processes.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across various departments and influence strategic decisions.

Solid understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow forecasting.

Leadership skills to mentor and develop teams while driving organizational success.
