As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Concord, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service to all personnel and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and interact with individuals in a professional and approachable manner. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service in a professional manner by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within the manufacturing and industrial location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate with site personnel and visitors to assist with inquiries and provide guidance related to security-related matters.
Document incidents, observations, and activities during patrols using approved Allied Universal procedures.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
