Project Overview:
Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The project base scope will include two (2) identical LNG trains, two (2) LNG Storage Tanks, one (1) LNG Carrier Berth, and associated utilities/facilities. The Project is to be constructed on a parcel of land located along State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake. The Infrastructure Global Business Unit (GBU) is executing site civil and marine scopes of work associated with our scopes of work on the Energy GBU LNG projects.

Job Summary:
In this role, you will establish industrial hygiene processes and programs on large or complex projects or facilities, using judgment, experience, and science to reduce the potential for adverse impacts. You will conduct research and assessments, analyze data, track performance and trends, and provide input on bid decisions. Your methods of controlling potential health hazards will keep employees working safely.?
Major Responsibilities:
Assists execution of the Industrial Hygiene (IH) component of an ESH Program inclusive of technical and administrative aspects.
Helps prepare and implement Safety and Health Management Plan, associated plans and procedures, and training program.
Provides input to Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Subcontracts, Commissioning, and other groups to assure that IH requirements are integrated within project planning and execution.
Interprets IH requirements and provides comprehensive assistance on plan preparation, risk assessment, and ESH program execution.
Researches moderately complex issues and regulatory requirements and prepares documentation and reports.
Provides support and guidance for IH studies, risk assessments, and program reviews and audits.
Participates in emergency response and incident investigation and resolution.
Participates in meetings with customers, team members, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Conducts ESH inspections and IH monitoring and sampling to identify hazards and risks, evaluate controls and corrective actions, and assess compliance with contract, regulatory, project, and Bechtel requirements.
Develops ESH communications and training materials using diverse methods and media and gives training.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) related to industrial hygiene and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to research and comprehend organizational and regulatory requirements.
Communicates well with diverse stakeholders and has technical writing and analytical skills. Demonstrates understanding of ES&H Management Systems.
Able to integrate environmental, safety, and health factors for program execution.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Computer skills for preparing presentations, data management, and report preparation.
Analytical skills related to Industrial Hygiene sampling and monitoring.
Adaptable and able to work outdoors in a field environment under project site and weather conditions.
Ability to support various work shifts, as needed.
