As a Security Professional - Unarmed Bank Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations to help maintain a secure environment for clients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and engage in exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by executing security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and engaging in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial institution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual circumstances, property damage, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
Maintain detailed logs and write reports on activities and/or incidents as required by Allied Universal policies and client expectations.
Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns within the financial institution environment.
Offer visible presence to help to deter potential risks and/or disruptions at the assigned location.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by client.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
A valid security guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
