Responsibilities Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, District 21. Directs administrative programs including logistics, facilities and emergency management, congressional and stakeholder relations, and program evaluation in accordance policies established by USCIS HQ, the Regional Director, and District Director. Serves as a senior-level expert and advisor on complex administrative, labor and employee relations, and logistical matters. Supports expert staff at the district and field level responsible for comprehensive budget process from planning to execution, and serves as a senior level expert and advisor on budget formulation and controls. Develops and implements workforce management strategies around staffing, recruitment, and retention, conducts effective staffing analysis, acquisition funding, and performance monitoring. Responsible for oversight of the District's administrative, human resource, emergency management, facilities, financial management, asset, training, and outreach functions; and is considered as the Chief Administrative Officer for the District. Leading and developing strategic goals for administrative activities including facilities management, continuity planning and emergency management, acquisition strategy and funding, organizational internal controls and performance monitoring, analysis and evaluation of support programs or mission support effectiveness.
