Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Operator supports the LP1 Warehouse through receiving, put-a-way, kitting, picking, and shipping (local/international) raw materials (including hazardous), intermediates and finished API in accordance with current standard operating procedures and work instructions. Required to handle and process materials using inventory control systems following GMP processes at all times. The Warehouse Operator must possess good communication skills, demonstrate initiative, and be a strong and supportive team member. Exhibits a strong attention to detail and the desire to operate in a safe and efficient manner.

Receipt & put-a-way of materials into proper storage conditions.

Prepping materials for interplant shipment.

Prepping materials for domestic and international shipment.

Package & Label materials to comply with health, safety, and quality standards.

Staging and prepping work area while wearing proper gowning and PPE.

Conducting cycle counts, performing material handling duties at manufacturing nodes on site when assigned.

Kit consumable materials for use in manufacturing operations.

Pick and prepare materials to meet manufacturing production schedules.

Operate powered industrial equipment in a safe and proper manner to ensure the efficient flow of material through the warehouse.

Maintainaccurate inventory records in SAP / MES.

Adhere to regulatory agency guidelines while working in the warehouse.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Previous certification to operate powered industrial equipment (forklift, reach truck, etc.)preferred. Ability to attain certification required, if not previously certified.

Additional Skills/Preferences:

Previous experience in a GMP and regulated environment.

Ability to read, write and communicate proficiently in English.

Current, State-issued drivers' license for driving internal vehicles.

Previous experience with material handling and inventory management systems.

Previous experience in warehousing/logistics.

Must complete learning plan & training for role.

Ability to pick-up and move 30-poundcontainers.

This position requires that candidates meet the area-specific Functional Job Description and Post Offer Exam requirements.

This role will operate in a shift position or standard days. The job may also involve some scheduled overtime and non-scheduled call-in time to respond to business needs.

Ability to wear respirator as required when handling hazardous materials.

Ability to wear proper gowning and personal protective equipment when in warehouse or production node.

Proactive and self-motivated to support team initiatives & business issues.

Additional Information:

This role has the opportunity for direct interaction with Regulatory Agencies during Site Inspections.

Ability to travel, as needed, for training at other Lilly sites, possibly outside the US.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$17.30 - $34.38

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
