Production Support Associate - 2nd Shift

Job Description

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Input production data into spreadsheets, databases, and/or systems

· Maintain production reports, files, and other documents

· Assist in the preparation of reports on volume of production, quality control, product yields, and other aspects of production

· Organize daily paperwork such as palletizer reports, downtime sheets, operator logs, and put-up sheets

· Compile necessary data from paperwork and produce daily production reports

· Inspect data for discrepancies and notify supervisor

· Write and send out production recap emails to appropriate managers and supervisors

· Provide support to or back up roles in quality support, inventory, accounting, etc.

· Help to maintain accurate reconciliation of finished product inventories

· Prepare and compile necessary information for requested audits

· Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues

· Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all company regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 0 to 1 year of operations, administrative, or related experience

· Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

· Able to use company computer systems

· Able to operate office machines including a calculator, scanner, copy machine, facsimile

· Able to work with accuracy and detail oriented

· Able to follow directions and meet deadlines

· Able to complete basic arithmetic, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, including decimals and fractions

· Must be able to read, write and speak Englis
