Industrial Maintenance Technician 3rd shift

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting various engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent teamwork abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Jacksonville, FL - Northside 32218

Pay Range: 23-28 depending on experience

Shift: 3rd shift

What's the Job?

Support maintenance activities and technical work while assisting the Engineering Team with various projects.

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in a high-speed production environment.

Interpret and program PLC/HMI systems, including Allen Bradley and SLC family using RS Logix 500 software.

Conduct breakdown and failure analysis to identify root causes and implement solutions.

Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and equipment functionality.

What's Needed?

At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in packaging or high-speed production.

Proficiency in electrical and electronic systems, including AC/DC motors, frequency drives, and wiring.

Experience with mechanical systems such as pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
