Introduction

This Work from Home position requires that you live and will perform the duties of the position; within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital (Our hospitals are located in the following states: FL, GA, ID, KS, KY, MO, NV, NH, NC, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA).

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Scheduling Assistant is responsible for taking messages for the scheduling team to schedule patient testing, procedures, indexing, admissions; obtaining accurate demographic patient information including the phone number for the patient

In this role you will:

Represent organization as a top-notch service-oriented business

Take message from caller, including all demographic info and phone number for a return call

Indexes orders for procedures in order management system as needed

Order and report reconciliation, including physician follow up for resolution

Review physician orders for quality assurance

Use judgment in escalating unresolved issues to management

Perform outbound calls to obtain information, this includes faxing and emailing

You will be on the phone 90% of your day

Qualifications:

Previous Call Center experience preferred

Medical office experience preferred

Experience using multiple applications on a computer using the internet
