Our people make all the difference in our success. We have one opening for Grinder Operator for our second shift. As a Grinder Operator at Regal Rexnord Thomson/Nook Cleveland Division your focus will be to: Set up centerless grinder, studer grinder and manual grinding machinery. Operate grinder machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines. Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary. Move completed material to next workstation. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Required Skills Education: One year certificate from college or technical school preferred. Experience: 6 months - 1-year related experience or training. Specific Skills & Knowledge: Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions. Mechanically inclined with strong math skills. Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers, and calipers. Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds. Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
