Position Overview:
The Telecom Technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s telecommunications systems, with a primary focus on Mitel phone systems and related technologies. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing system upgrades, and ensuring reliable voice communications across the enterprise.
This position features local PA travel, must be able to travel to Havertown or Shepherdstown, PA periodically.

Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day operational support and maintenance of Mitel telecommunications systems, including Mitel MiVoice, MiCollab, and associated hardware and software components.
- Install, configure, and test new telephony equipment, including handsets, call servers, and voicemail systems.
- Perform system backups, updates, and patches to ensure security and functionality of telecom systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues related to phone system performance, call routing, voicemail, and connectivity.
- Monitor system performance and capacity, proactively identifying and addressing potential problems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of telecom configurations, extensions, call flows, and network diagrams.
- Work with vendors and service providers to manage escalated issues, upgrades, and system enhancements.
- Assist with the integration of telecom systems with other IT infrastructure (e.g., network switches, VoIP gateways, and unified communications tools).
- Provide user training and support for Mitel applications and features.
- Participate in after-hours maintenance, on-call rotation, and emergency response as needed.
