As a Security Officer- Front Desk Manufacturing in Allen, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your presence and communication skills, all while upholding Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Day Time

Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Tue02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Wed02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.

Monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the location.

Assist with visitor management, including logging guests and issuing badges as required by site protocols.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.

Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors to address inquiries and provide information related to site access and security-related matters.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences at the front desk.

Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial location.

What We're Looking For:

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
