DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Staff Physician, you will play a crucial role in the treatment and care of our consumers. Your responsibilities include performing thorough admissions and physical exams, as well as reviewing medical records to formulate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. Additionally, you will regularly review designated consumers' medication profiles and collaborate with attending psychiatrists to ensure the best possible care. Your medical expertise and attention to detail will greatly contribute to the overall well-being and progress of our consumers.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This may change based on operational needs. On-call rotation required; possible on-call/on site rotation available weeknights, weekends, and holidays Overtime and travel as operational necessary Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirement: Three years of experience and/or training in the practice of medicine.

Special Requirement: You must be in possession of a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Medicine Board, or the State Osteopathic Medicine Board.

Other Requirements: PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening. You must pass a background investigation. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
