A leading estate planning firm based in Norwalk, CT, is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Estate Planning Administrator to join our team. This role is customer forward, with a strong focus on understanding and addressing the complex needs of our estate planning clients. The ideal candidate will have a background in Estate and Finance, with a keen ability to guide clients through our consultative planning process supported by a knowledge base in the financial aspects of Estates.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, conducting consultations to assess their estate planning needs and providing expert advice.

Help Draft estate plan documents, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, and deeds using our proprietary software.

Review and amend existing estate planning documents and assist in the funding of trusts.

Coordinate and manage the preparation and administration of estate planning documents and trust processes.

Collect and analyze data regarding clients' assets, including savings accounts, investments, and real estate holdings.

Work closely with the Senior Paralegal to manage files, workflow, and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions and case statuses.

Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Skills and Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (law, finance, business) preferred.

Paralegal certification or associate's degree in paralegal studies preferred.

Minimum of two years of experience in estate law, legal drafting, or financial planning preferred.

Strong understanding of estate planning, insurance, retirement, and investment principles.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal and financial concepts to clients.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe.

Experience with case management software is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to client needs.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
