Summary This position is located at Morale Welfare Recreation in Battle Creek, Michigan Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Responsibilities Actively participates in the management of the activity or organization by performing a wide variety of clerical and administrative support duties. Serves as the central point of contact for matters related to day-to-day operations. Composes operating procedures and sets internal priorities to generate improvements in administrative services. An extensive knowledge of rules, operations, and practices, and judgment in locating and selecting the most appropriate guidelines is required. Performs other duties related to office automation requiring a skill in general office machines, software, and the internet/intranet. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Work experience directly related to the duties described above. Ability to @type 40 words per minute. In addition to the qualifications above, applicants who possess the following will be considered highly preferred. Possess one (1) year of experience with NAF funding, government regulations, and purchasing. Possess one (1) year of practical experience in conducting internal control reviews related to financial regulations and governance. Possess at least one (1) year of experience in all facets of inventory management procedures and asset protection. Possess at least one (1) year of demonstrated success in managing and executing events and meetings. Experience must be clearly listed within your Resume to receive credit. Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official. All other applicants may be referred for consideration at managements request. Education Additional Information Area of Consideration This job is open to candidates who lives within a 50-mile radius of Battle Creek, Michigan. Allowances and Differentials This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
