Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Senior Manager 1, Field Marketing to support 40-50 K-12 school districts in the South-Central region. This is a remote role with up to 50% travel; candidates in IL, IN, MI, and WI are strongly preferred and must live near a major airport.In this role, you'll be the strategic marketing partner to operations teams-driving student engagement, brand execution, and marketing excellence across your region. We're looking for a creative, collaborative leader with strong operational insight to deliver growth, satisfaction, and participation in K-12 schools.

What You'll Do

Develop and execute district-specific student engagement plans aligned with annual business objectives to drive participation and satisfaction.

Oversee national brand initiatives across all school levels, ensuring consistency, compliance, and tailoring programs to local communities.

Analyze performance metrics to optimize marketing impact and return on investment.

Provide consultative support and training to field operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams for integrated solutions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with school administrators, district leaders, and community stakeholders.

Represent marketing in client meetings and business reviews, identifying opportunities to enhance satisfaction and client retention.

What You Bring

5+ years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in foodservice, education, or consumer-facing industries.

Previous school operations experience preferred.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.

Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills.

Experience working in a matrixed organization with field-based teams is a plus.

Must be comfortable with advanced functions of MS Office programs, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
