The Dermatology Strategic Marketing team is responsible for leading strategy and maximizing effectiveness across all of U.S. Immunology Dermatology as it relates to the following focus areas: Thought Leader Insight Gathering, Conference Management, Sponsorships, Peer to Peer, and External Consulting arrangements. This group works collaboratively across both Skyrizi and Rinvoq Commercial Dermatology teams to establish and manage strategies derived from brand plans, create annual plans related to the above focus areas, and work alongside AbbVie internal functions to support flawless execution.
The Marketing Manager I, Dermatology AD Board position will have responsibility for leading strategy, planning, and execution of advisory boards across the Franchise in collaboration with functional partners - including overseeing the annual planning process. The successful candidate will closely collaborate with all Brand Teams, Internal and External Agencies, Medical, Regulatory, Market Analytics and Business Intelligence (MABI), Legal, Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC), Patient Advocacy, Thought Leader Liaison Team (TLL), Field Operations, Field Sales, and Business Services teams in order to strategize, plan, execute, and create materials for various marketing-sponsored Advisory Boards.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Lead the integrated strategy and annual planning process for Advisory Boards across all Dermatology indications
Work with Brand teams and take a strategic and leadership role in helping create and execute on the key Brand Strategies and business questions
Oversee and lead cross-functional teams in order to execute upon Advisory Board objectives
Manage and oversee agency execution and accountability of advisory board content and logistics (including location, travel, etc)
Oversee approval of Statements of Work / Purchase Orders, including coordination with relevant vendors and other logistics, as required
Manage the cross-franchise master calendar to ensure timelines, logistics and attendance objectives are met for national and marketing-sponsored meetings
Continually contribute to process and capability innovation through assessments and recommendations
Stay current on all processes and procedures related to advisory boards
Ensure adherence to relevant policies and procedures related to planning and executing Advisory Boards, in collaboration with OEC
Participate in the annual budgeting process to ensure appropriate funding to deliver on brand objectives, including management of this budget
Continually seek out best practices from other AbbVie franchises
Work with TLL Team and Brand Team Leads to identify appropriate advisors to participate in the Advisory Boards based on content and expertise
Establish a comprehensive tracking system for all consultancies related to the Derm strategic marketing team's activities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Excellent diplomacy and facilitation skills; ability to influence without authority
Computer skills, MS Office and third-party software as needed
Solid business acumen, including budget management
Minimum of 3 years in sales, marketing, or other related commercial experience
Preferred:
Previous marketing experience
Knowledge of AbbVie policies, procedures, culture, and other brand team operations
Knowledge and experience in Dermatology markets
Pharmaceutical experience preferred (Client or Agency)

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. ?

Salary: $121,000 - $230,000
