Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for selecting and prepping orders using RF scanners, forklifts, and pallet jacks. You will provide support in preparing and packaging orders according to shipping guidelines and ensure the warehouse is organized and clean to maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

Load and unload containers using safe body mechanics.

Inspect and count incoming shipments.

Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to ensure a safe working environment.

Prepare and package orders following shipping guidelines.

Work efficiently in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills

Experience with inventory management, shipping and receiving, loading and unloading.

Proficiency in using RF scanners, packing, and general labor tasks.

Capability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Strong mathematical skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute simple instructions.

Capacity to deal with standardized situations with minimal variables.

Capability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Work Environment

The work environment includes constant sitting, using hands to operate the telephone, typing, and operating a computer and mouse. Physical activities involve stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and more. The employee may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and rarely up to 100 pounds. Vision requirements include close and distance vision. The environment features music throughout the day and a gym on site for employees.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
