Graduate Enrollment Support Specialist

The Graduate & Professional Studies (GPS) division at Northwestern College is seeking an enrollment support specialist to support Northwestern's graduate and online programs in a multifaceted position. The specialist will engage in recruitment activities such as providing admissions counseling, coordinating application processes, supporting marketing initiatives, assisting with the planning and execution of events, and undertaking various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operation of the GPS enrollment office. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This is a full-time, 12-month position slated to begin in October. Applicants seeking a flexible or part-time schedule will be considered.

Duties include:

Perform administrative tasks including data entry, report generation, file management, and other duties as assigned.

Implement recruitment strategies, including representing the college at regional graduate fairs and conferences.

Advise prospective graduate students on program offerings, admission requirements, and application procedures.

Coordinate and execute events such as continuing education conferences.

Manage graduate applications from submission to decision.

Advise students on curriculum, course selection and academic resources.

Support marketing efforts by contributing to recruitment materials, website content and social media campaigns.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.

1-2 years of experience in higher education admissions, recruitment, student services, or a related field (such as sales) preferred.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.

Proficiency in using technology is preferred.

Willingness to travel for recruitment events and work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
