Hours : 9a-5:30p M-F

Pay: $22/hr

Terms : 3-6+ month contract

BASIC FUNCTION

-Under general supervision, executes the proper Staging, Handling, Labeling, Transportation , and Storage of all goods within and related to the Samples facility. Executes basic inventory management principles with guidance from leadership.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Executes the following per written procedure:

-Discards - removes obsolete materials from inventory while following guidelines associated with hazardous waste handling.

-cycle counting - as assigned by scanning items and working with the department Lead to resolve inaccuracies.

-Pick for Samples Lab - stages raw materials for production and returns used inventory to warehouse.

-Maintains Obsolescence budget by completing accurate inventory records (weights, proper storage, and correct status).

-Maintains a clean, organized work area by meeting or exceeding General Housekeeping, and Master Sanitation requirements.

-Contributes to the overall safety of the department by following all safety guidelines.

-Responsible for inventory accuracy , reports all errors timely.

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS

-High school diploma or equivalent required

-Minimum of 1 year work experience in warehouse environment managing hazardous and non-hazardous inventory through electronic systems preferred.

-Current driver's license required to operate company vehicles.

-Ability to be fit tested, trained in use of respirator.

-SAP managed inventory experience preferred.

-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

-Excellent attendance, flexibility, enthusiasm and a positive approach to work performance
