Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Cytotechnologist PRN for our facility to join our Laboratory team. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. We want you to apply now!

What you will do in this role:

· You will prepare, stain, and screen specimens in order to complete tests required by various departments.

· You will perform all tests with care and accuracy to provide correct and informative results to both the pathologist and the department.

· You will prepare the specimen for staining by the centrifugation or filtering of fluid specimens and by smearing and staining specimens on slides.

· Diagnoses negative slides and refers atypical, inconclusive, or positive cases and refer to Cytopathologist for further evaluation and the completion of reports.

What qualification you will need:

· Bachelor's degree in a related science, is preferred.

· Minimum 1 year of training in an accredited school of Cytotechnology, preferred.

· Cytotechnologist ASCP certification is required.
