What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required by site-specific procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with inquiries related to access control and security-related procedures.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify any irregularities or security-related concerns.
Document and report any observed security-related incidents, access violations, or unusual activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding occupants during evacuations and coordinating with first responders when appropriate.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
