As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic commercial real estate location. Your visible presence and attentive approach will contribute to a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture. What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Document and report security-related observations, incidents, and/or hazards according to site protocols.

Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.

Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits as required by site-specific procedures.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
