As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Wilson, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your presence and regular patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $16.72 / Hour

Day Time

Mon08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Wed04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Thur04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sat08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Sun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.

Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access control procedures as required by site policies.

Maintain detailed and accurate logs and incident reports as directed by Allied Universal protocols.

What We're Looking For:

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
