The Multi-Domain Solutions Division at Leidos currently has an opening for a Configuration Manager Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to support the Advanced Battle Management System's (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) Network Manager program. In this mission we support the Department of Air Force (DAF) to manage the design, development, integration, validation, operation, and maintenance of current and new features and capabilities on the DI Network.?

ABMS is a top modernization priority for the DAF and will be the backbone of a network-centric approach to battle management in partnership with all services across the Department of Defense. That broader effort is known as Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2). As envisioned, JADC2 will allow U.S. forces from all services - as well as allies and partners - to sense, make sense and act upon a vast array of data and information faster than adversaries can detect and respond.?

Ability to work in Northern Virginia, Dayton, OH, or Orlando, FL is preferred. Candidate working from remote locations will also be considered.?

Primary Responsibilities

Lead and perform activities to include action item tracking and closure; review, finalization and delivery of deliverables; oversee and maintain the integrity of Configuration Management (CM)

Work with the team to create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.)

Use or recommend automated CM tools to implement CM policies and procedures

Develop or modify CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the system

Implement CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life

Systems engineering efforts towards program compliance activities, lifecycle improvements, audits and formal program reviews with leadership and the customer

Create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.)

Perform change control and configuration audits

Participate in periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) meetings across all program domains including formal customer sessions and milestones

Additional responsibilities as needed by the program

Basic Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must possess a minimum of a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

BS or BA degree and 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or master's with 10 - 13 years of prior relevant experience.

Ability to clearly articulate ideas, provide updates, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Strong organization, analytical, and presentation skills to support organizing data to customer requirements

Demonstrated initiative in identifying and solving problems without waiting for direction.

Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently.

Ability to anticipate customer needs and address them before they escalate into issues.

Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities.

Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience

Prior experience with configuration management design and deployment

Experience developing Configuration Management Plans and related documentation

Demonstrated experience with software Configuration Management tools

Developed and managed configuration baselines (hardware and software)

Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, tools, and technologies, and apply them effectively in a dynamic environment.

Clearance Required

Ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Jira and other Atlassian products

Experience with workflows for software release automation

Experience with large weapons systems and command and control platforms across the DoD portfolio

ITIL Foundation Certification

Previous TS/SCI Clearance

Pay Range:

Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
