Apple Services Operations is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Manager to lead and support key finance and operational initiatives across the organization. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams in Finance, Business, Legal, Tax, IT, Engineering, and external partners to streamline systems, improve operational workflows, and support the lifecycle of strategic deals. You will play a critical role in enhancing financial accuracy, vendor setup processes, and overall deal execution effectiveness.
Description
Product and Program Management
Lead cross-functional execution of large-scale finance and operational system projects, from requirements gathering through rollout.
Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations; maintain clear documentation and ownership throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to gather business and technical requirements and translate them into Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
Drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Finance workflows and ensure alignment with compliance expectations.
Deal & Revenue Operations Support
Provide operational support across high-priority licensing deals, with a focus on accounting accuracy (e.g., revenue recognition, COGS allocation, and OPEX tracking).
Maintain centralized visibility of active and upcoming deals, ensuring smooth coordination across legal, finance, and business teams.
Partner with Finance Operations teams to ensure timely and compliant accounting setup and recognition tied to complex contractual arrangements.
Partner Onboarding
Support and optimize partner onboarding, tax compliance, and payment processes in collaboration with business and global Finance Operations teams.
Ensure partners are accurately set up in internal systems, including banking, tax ID, and compliance data, minimizing manual rework or payment returns and delays.
Propose and implement workflow improvements to reduce turnaround times and enhance transparency.
Process Engineering
Map existing processes and identify areas of operational inefficiency, risk, or manual work.
Propose and implement automation or system enhancements that improve data accuracy and workflow throughput.
Collaborate with IS&T and other stakeholders to define scalable solutions to recurring pain points.
Minimum Qualifications
6+ years of experience in program or project management in finance operations, systems implementation, or deal support.
3 + years experience with vendor onboarding, master data governance, or payment workflows in a global enterprise @context.
Deep experience in financial systems, vendor management processes, and accounting fundamentals (revenue, COGS, OPEX).
Proven experience leading cross-functional system or process rollouts from concept to execution.
Preferred Qualifications
Background working within or alongside Finance, Accounting, or Tax departments.
Familiarity with UAT coordination, compliance-driven workflows, and internal controls.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience writing BRDs and presenting to leadership.
Track record of simplifying complexity and delivering process improvements that create lasting impact.
A deep appreciation for accuracy, accountability, and operational excellence.
An ability to work across teams and manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Curiosity, structure, and a calm demeanor when working through ambiguity.
An ownership mindset and a passion for building scalable and efficient operations.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $134,800 and $245,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
