About this role Competitive Pay:This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $20.00/hr. to $25.00/hr., depending on experience and qualifications. What You'll Do: Selects items from warehouse per customer order and packs in boxes for shipment. Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times. Responsible for making arrangements for pick up by the carrier specified on the customer's purchase order. Operates pallet jacks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas. Operates the stretch wrap banders. Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Receives and processes all defective parts returned for replacement or credit. Performs all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods. Familiarity with Fed X and UPS software is preferred. What You'll Need: Must be detail oriented as there are several products with similar item numbers for different applications. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Good time management skills. Basic math skills and/or aptitude. Some computer experience and aptitude. Must be able to lift, bend, stand and sit for long periods of time. Valid Driver's License andwilling to submit to a drug test Ability to work effectively with other OTC associates, customers, and vendors.
