What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the food and beverage location, including access control duties.
Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain authorized personnel flow.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with site-specific guidelines.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors while upholding Allied Universal standards.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
A valid security-related guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
