University of Washington Medical Center - Northwest's Nuclear Cardiology Lab has an outstanding opportunity for a Diagnostic Imaging Tech.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Located in North Seattle, the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC)-accredited outpatient Nuclear Cardiology Lab specializes in SPECT imaging to perform both exercise and pharmacological stress myocardial perfusion imaging. The lab operates under the direction of a board-certified cardiologist and functions through close collaboration with certified nuclear technologists and registered nurses, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered cardiac diagnostic care.
The Nuclear Cardiology Lab is a key component of the Heart Institute at UW Medical Center - Northwest, offering comprehensive cardiac services that encompass early prevention, risk assessment, and the management of both acute and chronic heart conditions.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares patient and independently performs Nuclear Medicine exams & procedure of an Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC)-accredited outpatient Nuclear Cardiology Lab
Coordinates and optimizes customer service and workflow
Operates, troubleshoots, maintains equipment
Maintains work environment
Assists with training and mentoring new personnel.
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program
Certification through the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB), or equivalent.
Registration with the State of Washington as a Certified Radiological Tech-NM
CPR or BLS-certified or obtained within 90 days of hire.
24 CME credits every two years
