Description We are looking for a dedicated Legal Assistant to join our team in New Albany, Ohio. This individual will play a key role in supporting attorneys by managing schedules, handling client interactions, and preparing essential legal documents. Responsibilities:

Coordinate and maintain attorneys' calendars, ensuring all appointments, deadlines, and meetings are accurately scheduled.

Utilize case management software to organize files, track case progress, and ensure timely follow-ups.

Conduct client intake by gathering necessary information and maintaining clear communication.

Draft and proofread legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.

Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing inquiries.

Monitor case timelines and ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with deadlines.

Assist in preparing materials for court proceedings and client meetings.

Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, document management, and correspondence handling.

Work collaboratively with attorneys and other staff to ensure smooth case management. Requirements - Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar administrative role within a legal setting.

Proficiency in calendar management and scheduling tools.

Familiarity with case management software and its applications.

Strong ability to draft, edit, and review legal documents with attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.

Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.

Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is preferred.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
