The Accounting Tax Coordinator will assist with real estate tax and personal property tax filings and payments, including maintenance of lot ownership

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist with preparation of property tax filing workpapers

Review cost transactions and determine taxability

Assist with the filing of personal property tax declarations and processing of payments for multiple counties in 7 states

Maintain database of lot ownership in accounting system

Sort and review real estate tax bills, resolve issues and process real estate tax payments

Maintain personal property tax and real estate tax trackers

Assist with the implementation of real estate tax software

Maintain real estate tax database after implementation

General ledger accounting tasks as needed

Complete other administrative duties

Other tasks as assigned by manager

Adhere to company safety standards and help promote a safe working environment

Adhere to and promote our Mission, Vision, and Values

Position Requirements:

Some college preferred

Real estate and personal property tax knowledge/experience preferred but not required

Strong Knowledge of MS Office
