As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth, strengthening partnerships, and delivering exceptional value across key national accounts. Key Responsibilities Grow Existing Customers Build and expand relationships within existing national accounts, engaging with multiple stakeholders to understand their operations, challenges, and strategic goals. Identify new opportunities within established customers to drive additional revenue growth. Leverage insights from internal KPIs, dashboards, and performance programs to identify areas of improvement and ensure customer success. Act as the key liaison between the customer and internal teams, ensuring needs and pain points are clearly communicated and addressed. Gain New Customers Prospect and develop new strategic account partnerships. Build credibility quickly through thoughtful discovery, business acumen, and an understanding of floorcare and industrial equipment. Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions that meet customer needs and create long-term value. Retain & Strengthen Relationships Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by delivering consistent, responsive service and follow-up. Anticipate potential challenges and proactively resolve issues before they escalate. Deepen partnerships through regular engagement, business reviews, and ongoing communication of performance outcomes and innovation opportunities. Drive Innovation & Continuous Improvement Engage customers in meaningful conversations around emerging needs, trends, and technologies. Partner cross-functionally to translate customer insights into product development opportunities. Showcase innovative solutions and demonstrate ROI to key decision-makers. Success in this role will be measured through: Sales volume and revenue growth across assigned accounts Customer retention and satisfaction scores CRM activity and pipeline development (Salesforce usage required) Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 7+ years of strategic or national account sales experience, preferably in industrial, retail, or janitorial/sanitation sectors. Proven success managing National or Global accounts within complex organizations. Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals. Strong understanding of industrial operations, logistics, and floorcare solutions. Experience using Salesforce CRM for account management, forecasting, and reporting. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities, able to ask the right questions and lead consultative discussions. Strong cross-functional collaborator - comfortable working with operations, service, and marketing to deliver holistic solutions.
