$2,000.00 Sign-On Bonus for eligible new hires

$17.24/hour starting wage for non-certified Medical Assistants

$18.28/hour starting wage for Medical Assistants Certified through AAMA or AMT

Under general supervision, and according to established policies and procedures, will provide excellent patient care by performing or assisting in a variety of medical procedures and tests to assist in the examination and treatment of patients, including but not limited to vital signs, procedures, various treatments, administering injections, and venipuncture. Assists with clerical duties to maintain efficient operations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Performs to service excellence standards:

Responds promptly, professionally, and courteously to all customers' needs.

Cooperates and communicates effectively with all patients, families, and staff.

Contributes to continuous quality improvement efforts.

Prepares examining rooms, including turning on computer terminals and stocking the room with supplies.

Qualifications:

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent and six months of experience as a medical assistant

High school diploma or equivalent and completion of one of the following programs: medical assistant, emergency medical technician, nurse assistant, licensed practical nurse, or armed services medic program.
